Care Policy
Always store your jewelry pieces individually, preferably in your MyMawduh soft-lined box or pouch so that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle. Particular care should be taken with gemstones to ensure that they do not knock against one another when stored. Also remember to keep your chains fastened so they don’t become tangled.
Living in a humid environment?
Store your jewelry with a small packet of desiccant crystals to help reduce tarnishing.
Your gold vermeil and silver jewelry should be kept in a dark, cool and dry place. With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidized and eventually tarnish. Storing silver jewelry in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation. The oxidation process is also slowed down by wearing your jewelry often. If however your jewelry is stored for long-periods of time, occasional cleaning is recommended to maintain shine and keep oxidation at bay.
All our MyMawduh sterling silver jewelry is rhodium plated which protects the silver from exposure and helps reduce long-term tarnishing.
Your jewelry is particularly susceptible to damage from the effects of chemicals present in perfume, hairspray, make-up, nail polish remover, body oils, suntan lotion and deodorant.
Do not keep jewelry in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause many gemstones to fade and lose their color. Amethyst, rose quartz, chalcedony and smokey quartz are just some of the gemstones that can become paler from exposure to sunlight.

stones, pearls, beads, crystals & metals. You may notice variations in color, size and pattern as this is due to their natural elements. Please handle your jewellery with care. MyMawduh cannot take responsibility for any breakages that occur through mishandling.
Please avoid contact with ersonal items such as sanitizers, lotions, perfumes and oils as some metals and stones can react to these items, which may result in discolorations
or tarnishing. Please avoid showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping with this product.
Clean regularly with a clean cloth and store away in a dark and dry place.

How should I clean my Jewelry?
For a light cleaning, we recommend using a mild dish soap and warm water, or a branded jewelry wipe. For a deeper clean, we recommend using a Magnasonic jewelry cleaner, which is ideal for removing tiny particles that get trapped in hard to reach areas.
How do I figure out my ring size?
You can also refer to our ring size conversion chart on every ring product detail page. However, the most accurate way to determine your ring size is by visiting a local jeweler. Please keep in mind, your ring size can fluctuate about a half size, based on your temperature, hydration levels, hormones, etc. If the roposal is a surprise, we recommend taking a favorite ring (that is worn on the finger the ring is intended for) to a local jeweler to determine that size.

How Do You Clean a Ring at Home?
The best way to clean your ring at home is with a light wash. You can also use a medium wash on a necessary basis. Light wash Ingredients: 1 tsp of dishwashing soap, 1 cup of warm water, bowl or shallow dish. Steps: Mix dish soap into a cup of warm water until fully dissolved. Dip your jewelry in the solution and use a soft cloth (or soft bristle toothbrush) to gently scrub clean. Rinse with clean water and let dry on a clean, soft cloth. Also be careful to not rinse your ring over an open drain in a sink, should it slip out of your hands and fall. Medium wash Ingredients: 3 drops of lemon essential oil, ½ cup of witch hazel or white vinegar, small bowl or shallow dish Steps: Mix the essential oil drops with witch hazel or vinegar in a small bowl. Add jewelry and soak for approximately 5 minutes. If needed, wipe with a soft cloth to loosen the dirt. Rinse with water and dry on a clean, soft cloth.
